15-yard dumpster dimensions

This is the only dumpster size Boise Bins publishes. The measurements below are the ones on the rental page, for the 15-yard roll-off, not a generic national chart.

Measured size

Boards under a 15 yard roll-off dumpster on a gravel driveway in Boise, ID - Boise Bins — Published size: 16 ft long, 83 in wide (about 7 ft), 48 in tall (4 ft).

Estimate: About 7 to 8 level pickup loads. Level loads, not heaped.

How to tell if the project fits

Count level pickup loads, not rooms. A room of books or tile is heavier than a room of empty boxes, and weight is what the landfill ticket measures. The size guide says about 7 to 8 level pickup loads. It also says level loads, not heaped. Your project can fit more or less.

A garage of furniture, a kitchen and bath of cabinets and drywall, or a yard of branches usually belongs in this size. A roof tear-off of heavy shingles, a concrete patio, or a dirt regrade does not. Concrete, dirt, and bricks are prohibited no matter how much space is left.
