Dumpster for a home cleanout
Boise Bins drops the bin and hauls it. The rental is not a crew that packs the house. You, or someone you hire, load it by hand.
What usually fits
Furniture, mattresses, bagged household junk, boxed clothes, and a cleaned-out garage are the jobs this 15-yard handles. The size guide estimates about 7 to 8 level pickup loads. Mattresses and dressers use the space. Books, tile, and soil use the weight. Included weight on the rental page is 2,000 lbs.
Sort before it hits the rail
Paint, chemicals, tires, batteries, concrete, dirt, and bricks are not allowed. A garage cleanout is where those show up. Pull them out before delivery. A washer, dryer, fridge, or dishwasher is $25 each. TVs and monitors are not allowed.
You do not have to be home for the drop. The spot still has to be clear: 16 ft long and about 7 ft wide. Boards go under the bin.
What can go in
In the bin
Household junk
Furniture, mattresses, and a garage or basement cleanout.
Appliances
A washer, dryer, or dishwasher is $25 each. Refrigerators and TVs stay out.
Construction debris
Wood, drywall, cabinets, and other job-site junk.
Yard waste
Branches, shrubs, and fence boards. Soil stays out.
Leave these out
No dirt, concrete or brick
Too heavy for this 15-yard. A dirt or flatwork job needs a different plan.
No batteries, paint, or chemicals
They contaminate the load and the landfill refuses them.
No tires
Landfills will not take them in a mixed load — tire shops recycle them.
No TVs or refrigerators
Screens and refrigerant units need special disposal and cannot ride in the bin.
No hazardous waste
When in doubt about a material, call before you load it.
